Housekeeping

(Not my house or shelves - I wish they were!)

Its Easter and it seems to be a good opportunity to catch up on reading this weekend. I've just spent the last two days in what seems to be a cycle of cleaning, washing up, changing bed linen and cooking for the guests that have passed through the doors. Currently my mother is with me so I don't know how much reading will happen, but I do know there are stacks of books from various family members in piles around the house at the moment. What I really need is more shelving space (see above - if only!) or the ability to be ruthless and eliminate books from the piles. (How many times can I read Ian Fleming's works? They are easily replaceable, so why do I hang on to them? How anal retentive am I? - don't answer that!) So, having cleared dishes, maybe its time to clear some shelves - physically!
