Re Move

I used to publish Haiku poetry on this site as some long time readers (!) would be aware, but a few days ago I removed it and migrated it to another site dedicated purely to my Haiku writing. It's sort of a safe deposit box for my maudlin musings and I'm attempting to sharpen my writing edge with the 17 syllable format. Yesterday I published a poem that, on reflection, is a stinker and fails badly. This lead me to think about when to ditch and when to attempt a re-write. This blog, believe it or not, undergoes various rewrites that are not obvious. I sometimes edit a day or two later, tweaking a word, adding another sentence or image to see if I can make minor improvements for you Dear Reader. So have a glance back through the archives from time to time - you may find old mixed with the new, or in the case of haiku, gone! ... and if you feel like it, take the Haiku Poll and let me know YOUR reactions to my Asian anthology.

Burn brightly, Pete
