No 1 Son

My son turns 20 today ( seems like only yesterday I passed him over to his four year old sister to hold in the birthing room). I'm picking him up from the Brisbane Powerhouse at 6.00 tonight and we'll celebrate the milestone after he finishes a Character Workshop he's been attending today.

He's just graduated from his Acting Diploma with the lead role in Arhur Miller's The Crucible and his college put  his name forward to attend the two day workshop on  clowning and characterisation at Brisbane's Powerhouse this weekend. He's come a long way from waving a wooden sword in the chorus of Pirates of Penzance as an eight year old. He'll probably read this in the next day or two, so Happy 20th, and I hope he's not too embarrassed when I say how proud I am of his achievements.

Burn brightly, Pete
